Residential treatment is the month or more that follows, where the whole day is built around recovery. Intensive outpatient runs several sessions a week around work and family. Standard outpatient is the weekly appointment that carries most people most of the time.

The order matters more than the brand of any one program. Detox that ends without a residential or outpatient placement already booked is where a lot of recoveries are lost, so ask any provider on Oahu what the handover looks like before the admission, not after.
